Student VISA
A Canadian student visa is issued to international students by CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada). This student visa allows students to study in the country during the entire course duration plus extra 03 months [90 days].
To obtain a student visa, you must have:
- A Confirmation of Enrolment Letter, issued by your university after admission.
- Proof of English-language proficiency is not mandatory, but most universities require it for admission.
- Financial proof to ensure you can fund education & living expenses in Canada.
Post Study Work VISA
The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program or PGWPP program is a work permit for international students who have completed their studies in Canada. This program allows international students to stay in Canada for an additional two years after graduation. This work permit allows students to gain Canadian work experience, which is a plus point for their career growth.

Accommodation
There are many options for international students to live in Canada while they study. The first option is living on-campus at the university or college that they attend. This is an affordable option, but it gives fewer opportunities to explore more or be independent of their college. The second option is finding accommodation off-campus in a shared apartment or house. This allows for more independence and exploration, but it also means more living expenses. Students must decide on their accommodation based on the distance from the university/college, nearby markets, personal preferences and budget.
